Description:
The tree is 15-50 m, high with a trunk is
straight, round and without buttreess the bark
is smooth and grayish brown. The crown is dense,
becoming broader towards the top. The end of the
twigs are hairy The medium sized oval leaves are
lanced shaped and pointed at both ends, and
green with fine hair on the lower surface. They
are 10-28 cm x 4.5-11 cm in size and thin
likeskin. The flowers are large, yellow or
orange and very fragrant. The fruit is shaped
like an elongated ball. Slightly bent, green at
fish, then becoming pale grey and rough: the
fruit is borne in chain. The ripe seeds are
darks red in color.

Nepal, India, Burma, Indochina, Malaysia and
Indonesia
Habitat:
Tropical forest up to 1,200 m above sea level.
Use:
The flower contains an essential oil used in the
cosmetic industry. The wood is used for
furniture industry and simple building. It also
used as an ingredient of traditional medicine
perfumes
